I heard that when they set off the very first trial atomic bomb, they had no idea what was going to happen. There was even speculation that the very atmosphere itself would catch fire and burn. If that had actually happened, this is what such an event would have undoubtedly looked like.
Yet they went ahead with the experiment regardless of speculation. During this sunset the wind was strong and flattened the clouds in stacks of lenticular plates. Thank you for your comment
One day when I forgot to bring a camera, there was one single cloud in the sky and it looked like a bust of Mercury. I took a picture using a phone, but there was no telephoto feature so it was too small to see very well. In this picture, there is a kangaroo head in the upper left corner, so I can't criticize your imagination. Thank you for your comment
